Shrove Tuesday?

The years I lived in Austria I never had 'Krapfen' on Faschingsdienstag because I hated this fat, sweet and way to big bakery. But now as I'm in England...

...I stick to the traditions for showing them my international mind and because it's still fun for me. And all of a sudden I'm even eating pancakes, tradionally prepared with sugar and lemon, on Shrove Tuesday. And to be honest, they are delicous. Even when warmed in the microwave, traditionally British :) Does anybody have to understand that? No! This is England!
